Warzone Hajin Map
Hajin, the map of MW4 DMZ, becomes the new Call of Duty: Warzone Battle Royale map with Modern Warfare 4 Season 1, which starts on 6 November 2026. It is the same exclusion zone on the Korean Peninsula that DMZ players are exploring now, so the locations on our interactive Hajin map are the ones you will drop into in Warzone.

Warzone Hajin locations
These are the 13 major points of interest in Hajin from the DMZ version of the map. Activision has not said whether any area will be closed or changed for Warzone, so treat this as the starting layout:
- 14th Political Prison: Northwest Hajin, former North Korean territory.
- Chang-san Air Base: Western Hajin, former North Korean territory.
- Deadtown: Southwest Hajin, former North Korean territory.
- Imjin Farmland: South-southwest Hajin, former South Korean territory (grid D7).
- Cheongun Village: Northern Hajin, the most northerly former South Korean area.
- Mirae General Hospital: North-central Hajin, former South Korean territory.
- Cheonwang Peak Array: Central Hajin, former South Korean territory.
- Haneul Nuclear Reactor: Northeast Hajin, former South Korean territory.
- NuriGO Mall: Northeast Hajin City, former South Korean territory.
- The Grid: Central Hajin City, former South Korean territory.
- Songdo Wharf: Eastern Hajin City, former South Korean territory.
- Wolves Stadium: South-central Hajin City, former South Korean territory.
- Hajin River Heights: Southeast Hajin, former South Korean territory.
DMZ splits the map into threat levels from Low to Extreme. In Warzone those threat levels will not apply, but they show where the dense buildings and armed AI sit today, which usually means the most cover and loot.
How Hajin compares with Verdansk
Reports describe Hajin as one of the largest maps Infinity Ward has built, and Beebom reports it is bigger than Verdansk. Activision has not published its size in square kilometres, so we do not give a number. Unlike Verdansk, Hajin spans a former border, with former North Korean areas such as the 14th Political Prison and Chang-san Air Base in the west, and former South Korean areas such as Cheongun Village and Mirae General Hospital.
How to learn the map before Season 1
- Play DMZ. It is the same map, and you can learn rooftops, tunnels and roads without the ring.
- Use the interactive map to find each location and its grid, then the locations list for the named buildings in each area.
- Keep an eye on the Season 1 page, which has the countdown and will get the patch notes on the day.
We will add the Warzone drop spots, the ring and any closed areas once Season 1 is live and two sources agree, and log every change on the updates page.
